The History of The Classic Leather Jacket

The Classic Men’s leather jacket has been around for decades. The leather craze started in the 1940’s and was worn originally by U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Army Air Force aviators The classic Jacket was call the leather bomber jacket. It was used for protection . In the 1950’s the leather jacket was as statement of rebel worn by the greasers. The black leather jacket was worn with its collar up to show that you were hip.. As the decades passed and the movie industry featured leather jackets on actors’ such Marlo Brando, James Dean, and of course the Fonze . As the years passed the music industry rocked the leather craze from wild red leather pants and vest worn by Motley Crue, Poisen and the whole eighties Glam Rock / and Punk Society. The Leather Jacket is worn as fashion ,As a statement and of course for protection. The Classis Leather Jacket has been around for decades and will be her for years to come.
